I am learning to make a rhyming string (car, far - sat, cat, fat - word families).

"It is easy to find the rhyming words in the games. I am good at reading the words in my homework book.  I have nearly finished all the sheets. Sounding out can be tricky for me.  Mrs Wyatt, Nana, and Poppa help me."

I am learning to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense.

"It is hard to write the word 'chipmunks', and it is easy to write the same words like - 'this' and 'is' and 'to' and 'with' and 'went'.  I use my word card, but I sometimes I know how to spell 'went'.  I am good at finger spaces, full stops, and question marks.  I know how to do an exclamation mark, and I know how to do a comma.  My Nana, Poppa and Mrs Wyatt helps me to do my writing."

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting the objects.

"Doing 6+4 is easy, but doing a million is hard.  I do not know a million.  I am good at maths, and I like doing maths, and I like building the same things as Quinn and Hong Wei with Lego. Mrs Wyatt, Nana and Poppa help me to do maths."
